A message from our Club Competitions Secretary John Mimpress
Club Finals:
'This year's Club Competitions are shaping up nicely with all finalists now decided. Whilst most games will be played on Sunday the 31st of August, some people are in more than one final so some games will be played on *Friday the 29th of August, the programme & timetable for the two days is attached.
*The games being played on Friday will commence at 4:00pm so, although Club Night is still going ahead, the start may be a little delayed to allow for the finals matches to be completed. Those of you playing in the finals on Sunday may also wish to use the Friday evening to practice – all are welcome!
Please remember that the dress code for the Finals is Black Trousers/Shorts and Club Shirt.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to be a ‘Marker’, and also to Allan & Gene Taplin who will be sharing Umpiring duties.
Food and Beverages will be available throughout the day (menu attached) on Sunday and of course the bar will be open from 11:00 am, so please come along and show your support for your fellow bowlers on what promises to be an enjoyable weekend.'

CMBL Finals Day:
The CMBL are holding their Finals Day on Saturday the 30th of August at Great Baddow.
Steve Lang & Ian Moore are in the Pairs Final (programme attached) and if anyone would like to go along and offer support I know we would appreciate it!
